| Now that
summer is almost here, the mosquitoes are coming out
in full force again. Wherever there’s water,
there’s going to be swarms of annoying, biting,
breeding mosquitoes. Havens for mosquitoes include
places where water is stagnant, such as birdbaths,
gutters and even in a child’s sandbox. But it’s
impossible to find all of these places around your
house, and to keep them dry. Besides, who has the time
to do that? There are more in your backyard then you
probably ever imagined. But what’s the solution,
besides endlessly searching for places where water
might collect and sit for long amounts of time? Now,
with NASA technology, you won’t have to worry about
being eaten alive at your next cookout. |

| The
technology breakthrough you need.
Developed with technical assistance from NASA, the
EPAR™ (Environmental Products and Research) Mosquito
Killer System (MKS) is a new and improved,
revolutionary mosquito control device. The MKS unit
features strong, durable construction, but is
attractive enough to be a suitable addition to any
patio, lawn or other area in need of mosquito control.
UL listed, the MKS unit is the result of 15 years of
research and development. It effectively reduces the
mosquito population by attracting and killing them
without the use of chemicals. The MKS incorporates a
new circuit board in order to facilitate the automatic
release of Carbon Dioxide. CO2 is released over a 2
hour period through a pulsation cycle of 50 seconds
occurrences. This allows the release of CO2 in a more
natural pattern in order to mimic the breathing and
body temperature of warm-bodied mammals. The MKS
relies on the mosquito’s natural ability to sense
heat and breathing, making the mosquito think they
have found prey for a meal. Instead, the mosquitoes
are vacuumed up and silently, quickly electrocuted.
All you need is a power supply of at least 110 volt
AC, which is a common household current.
The ultimate weapon against mosquitoes. The
unit’s amber light indicates that the power is on
and running. The green light indicates the CO2
solenoid is releasing Carbon Dioxide, so you’ll
always know when it’s working. Using a photocell
sensor, it also turns on automatically at dusk, and
off at dawn. The unit should be mounted on the
included stand, or a fence or wall. The unit can be
placed in areas where breeding is noticeable such as
decks, water sources or garages. It should be between
3 and 4 feet from the ground for maximum
effectiveness, to allow proper airflow. The MKS has
been shown to be able to attract and kill a large
number of mosquitoes in a single night, reducing the
mosquito population. And there’s no maintenance
required, since the MKS is self-cleaning.
